Embassy of Republic of Korea to resume its work in Kyiv – MFA
KYIV. May 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ukraine will resume its work in Kyiv on May 5, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.
"Our Embassy is preparing to resume its activities on May 5 and plans to conduct diplomatic affairs and protection of foreign nationals in Kyiv in close cooperation with the Ukrainian government," the Republic of Korea Foreign Ministry said in a statement on its website Sunday.
As noted, Ambassador Kim Hyung-Tae and some staff members who had been working in the temporary office in Chernivtsi since March have already returned to Kyiv. The remaining employees in the temporary offices in Chernivtsi and Romania are considering a plan to return to Kyiv in stages, observing the local situation in the future.
