Eleven missiles downed in Pivden Command's area of responsibility
KYIV. Dec 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Eleven missiles were shot down in the area of responsibility of the Pivden (South) Operational Command during a massive missile attack on Ukraine on Friday, December 16, the missiles were aimed at critical and civilian infrastructure facilities, the press service of Odesa City Council has said with a reference to the command’s data.
"Six Kh-101, Kh-555 air missiles were destroyed in the sky over Vinnytsia region by the mobile fire group and forces of the Center Air Command," it said on the Telegram channel.
The Pivden Air Command forces also shot down three and two Kalibr missiles over Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, respectively.
