Electricity, water supply cut off for 80% of Kyiv residents – mayor
KYIV. Nov 23 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Electricity and water supply was cut off for 80% of Kyiv residents following Russia’s missile attack on Ukraine, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has said.
"Like all Ukraine, Kyiv was a target of another Russian attack. Critical infrastructure facilities were damaged. Due to this, 80% of consumers in the capital have no electricity supply. Approximately the same number of Kyiv residents has not water supply. All municipal services are operating in order to restore both electricity and water supply for Kyiv residents as soon as possible," he said on air of Radio Liberty.
