Electricity imports from Slovakia for first 6 days of Feb exceed supply for entire Jan
KYIV. Feb 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The volume of electricity imports from Slovakia on Tuesday, February 7, is 0.84% lower compared to Monday – it will be 9,865 MWh instead of 9,949 MWh, according to data on the website of the European Network of Transmission System Operators (ENTSO-E).
At the same time, the volume of imports from Slovakia for 6 days of February has already exceeded the incoming volume for entire January – 63,740 MWh versus 59,570 MWh (up by 7%).
According to the information on the website, imports on Tuesday should go all hours of the day at a capacity of 388-433 MW.
At the same time, traders on Tuesday again, as for the first time on Monday, booked the entire capacity offered by NPC Ukrenergo for the auction for the distribution of access to the cross-section for power imports from Slovakia, which is 400-600 MW and allows the supply of 11,780 MWh.
D. Trading booked 360-560 MW for all hours, ECU – 34-41 MW for all hours, U.Commodities – 1 MW for 6 hours of the day, and Augusta – 6 MW for all hours.
In addition, for the third day in a row, Ukraine, according to updated data on the ENTSO-E website, is importing electricity from Moldova in a small volume, the possibility of supplies from which traders began testing from Sunday. Thus, on February 5, some 506 MWh was supplied, on February 6, some 435 MWh, and on February 7, some 281 MWh should be supplied.
