Electricity imports from Slovakia down by 7.38% on Tuesday

KYIV. Jan 31 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The volume of electricity imports from Slovakia on Tuesday is 7.38% lower compared to data on Sunday – it will be 7,310 MWh versus yesterday’s volumes of 7,893 MWh, according to data on the website of the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E).

According to the information on the website, imports arrive at 16:00 at a capacity of 305 MW, and at other hours 299-315 MW.

According to the data on the Ukrenergo electronic auction platform, D.Trading has reduced the booked power section for Tuesday from 450 MW to 400 MW for all hours. Augusta booked 6 MW for all hours instead of 8 MW, and ERU Trading remained in the same position as yesterday – 10 MW for all hours.

The cross section price is still 0 UAH/MWh.

In general, from January 26, Ukrenergo puts up for auction an almost doubled cross-sectional capacity – 500-600 MW each, depending on the hour of the day.

As reported, Ukraine, according to the ENTSO-E website, began to receive imported electricity from January 15.
