Electricians manage to return power to 6 mln people in day – Zelensky
KYIV. Dec 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian power engineers managed to return power to 6 million people in one day, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video statement on Saturday, December 17.
"The main thing is energy. During the day, 6 million Ukrainians were returned electricity. There is still a lot of work to stabilize the system. There are problems with the supply of heat, there are big problems with the supply of water," he said.
According to him, the most difficult situation is in Kyiv and the region, Vinnytsia and the region, Lviv and the region.
"Large-scale blackouts, Dnipro and the region, Volyn, Zhytomyr region, Zakarpattia, Odesa, Odesa region, Ternopil region, Chernihiv region," Zelensky said.
