Each sanctions package of Ukraine becomes basis for working with partners – Zelenskyy
KYIV. Feb 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Each sanctions package of Ukraine becomes the basis for work on sanctions with partners, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a video address on Sunday.
“Today there is a new sanctions step by our state against all those fuelling Russian aggression. I signed a decree on the implementation of the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on sanctions against Russian financial entities. These are the sanctions of Ukraine. But each of our sanctions package becomes the basis for working on sanctions with partners,” he said.
“Now the next EU sanctions package is being prepared – already the tenth one. We are working with partners to strengthen it. But at the same time, we are working with other subjects of global relations,” Zelenskyy said, stressing: “Sanctions for terror are what in which the efforts of each responsible state are able to push the global process.
