During night shelling of Nevelske four residential buildings damaged – head of Donetsk Regional State Administration
KYIV. Nov 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A total of four private houses in Nevelske, Pokrovsky district (Donetsk region) were damaged by a night mortar shelling by Russian-led forces in Donbas, rescuers got two people out of the debris, head of the regional military-civil administration Pavlo Kyrylenko said.
"At least four private houses were damaged as a result of the shelling of Nevelske settlement of the Pokrovsky district by Russian terrorist groups. Two of them were completely destroyed. All the damaged houses, which are now known, are located on Molodizhna Street. During the shelling, there were people in one of the destroyed houses under the debris – a 65-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service helped them to get out from under the debris. By a lucky coincidence, none of the civilians were injured," Kyrylenko wrote on his Facebook page on Sunday morning.
Information about the damaged houses came from rescuers and law enforcement officers, who, together with ambulance doctors, arrived at the scene to help people.
Kyrylenko said that further examination of the village and clarification of information about the damage will take place during the day by the forces of law enforcement officers and local authorities.
Earlier it was reported that as a result of a night mortar shelling from the enemy, an orderly- driver was seriously wounded, he was taken to a military hospital.
