During day of operation of DrugHunters chatbot, 52 appeals received – Biloshytsky
KYIV. Nov 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – During the working day of the DrugHunters chatbot, the police received 52 requests from citizens for caches in different cities of Ukraine, first deputy head of the Patrol Police Department Oleksiy Biloshytsky said.
"There are first results of the work of the DrugHunters chatbot. Currently, 52 requests from citizens have been received in cities. The lion’s share of them is to check the work of the chatbot," he wrote on his Facebook page on Tuesday evening.
According to Oleksiy Biloshytsky, in Kropyvnytsky, patrolmen have already found caches in the places indicated by citizens.
"The chatbot received an appeal about a suspicious bundle hidden in the pipe of the fence. It was a cache," the message says.
Also in Zhytomyr, an eyewitness reported that the suspected man left a caches at the entrance to the house. While working on the appeal, the patrolmen found two paper parcels.
"I would like to note that pilot versions of the DrugHunters chatbot worked in Lviv and Odesa and proved their effectiveness. With the help of this program, we found hundreds of places with caches, and also detained people distributing them. We continue to work for the sake of safety on the streets," Biloshytsky said.
