Draft state budget for 2023 foresees UAH 175.7 bln for healthcare, UAH 155 bln for education, UAH 6.8 bln for support of veterans
KYIV. Sept 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The draft state budget for 2023 provides for UAH 175.7 billion for healthcare, UAH 155 billion for education, and UAH 6.8 billion for support of veterans.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Finance, the draft state budget for 2023 provides for UAH 175.7 billion for healthcare, UAH 155 billion for education, UAH 835 billion for pensions and social protection, UAH 6.8 billion for support of veterans, UAH 19 billion to the fund for eliminating the consequences of armed aggression, UAH 16 billion to the Entrepreneurship Development Fund, UAH 1.4 billion to provide grants to businesses.
As reported, the government of Ukraine approved the draft state budget for 2023 with revenues of UAH 1.279 trillion and expenditures of UAH 2.573 trillion.
Almost 50% of the entire state budget for 2023 will be directed to the security and defense sector (UAH 1.136 trillion).
