Draft state budget-2022 provides for financing of Interior Ministry at level of 2021
KYIV. Sept 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The draft state budget of Ukraine for 2022 provides funding for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the level of 2021.
According to the draft law No. 6000 of September 15, 2021, it is proposed to allocate UAH 5.421 billion to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while the state budget of 2021 provided funding in the amount of UAH 5.389 billion.
In particular, it is proposed to allocate UAH 340.2 million for leadership and management in the field of state policy on foreign relations, UAH 632.7 million for Ukraine’s contributions to the budgets of the UN, bodies and specialized agencies of the UN system, other international organizations and convention bodies, for the functioning of foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine and expansion of the property network of Ukraine for the needs of these institutions – UAH 4.3 billion.
It is proposed to allocate UAH 26 million for the implementation of the Foreign Ministry’s powers to conduct foreign policy of Ukraine, organization and control over the activities of foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine, UAH 21.1 million for professional training of officials of the diplomatic service and employees of other state bodies in the field of foreign relations, UAH 74.1 million for financial support to ensure Ukraine’s international positive image, support for the activities of the Ukrainian Institute, measures to support relations with Ukrainians living outside Ukraine and UAH 75.2 million for documentation of citizens, creation and operation of consular information and telecommunications systems of the consular service.
As reported, on September 15, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved and sent to the Verkhovna Rada a draft state budget for 2022.
