Dpty Prime Minister of Ukraine discusses economic cooperation with Czech Ambassador
KYIV. Sept 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleh Urusky has discussed with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Ukraine Radek Matula cooperation between the countries in the economic sphere.
"The key topic of the conversation was the organization and holding of the 9th meeting of the Ukrainian-Czech mixed commission on economic, industrial and scientific and technical cooperation, as well as the Ukrainian-Czech business forum, which will be held within the framework of the commission meeting on October 18-19 in Kyiv," the press center of the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine reported.
It is said that the parties identified topics for discussion in the context of deepening economic, investment and scientific and technological cooperation between Ukraine and the Czech Republic.
Urusky, as co-chairman of the Ukrainian-Czech mixed commission on economic, industrial and scientific-technical cooperation, is convinced that effective work will contribute to building up bilateral trade and economic relations.
"There is a general understanding that there are significant prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation in both traditional and high-tech and innovative sectors of the economy, in particular in mechanical engineering, the development of the military-industrial complex and the aerospace industry," the press service quotes Urusky.
The report notes that the Urusky thanked the Ambassador and the Czech Republic in his person for a clear position in support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
