Discharges of patients with COVID-19 exceed hospitalizations, but risk of resumption of incidence increase remains – KSE
KYIV. Nov 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Discharges of patients with COVID-19 for the first time in the last 100 days exceed hospitalizations, experts from the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) have said.
"The last week shows a decline in the incidence of COVID-19. This is still an unstable trend towards a decline. KSE recommends waiting for a three-week decline in incidence in order to talk about a stabilized trend towards a decline," head of the Center for Health Economics at KSE Yuriy Hanychenko said at a weekly online briefing during Tuesday.
He also added that due to a decrease in the number of hospitalized people, for the first time in two months, the reserve of free beds with oxygen increased to 27,000.
