DGF starts satisfying claims of legal entities of insolvent IR Bank
KYIV. Aug 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Deposit Guarantee Fund (DGF) has begun satisfying claims of seventh-level priority tier creditors (unrelated legal entities) of IR Bank (former Sberbank), the press service of the regulator reported on Wednesday.
Decision No. 502 was made by the Executive Directorate of the Fund on August 15.
Some UAH 277.1 million will be allocated to satisfy the claims of 54,986 seventh-level priority tier creditors, which is 10% of the total amount of the seventh-level priority tier.
As reported, on February 25, 2022, the National Bank of Ukraine revoked a banking license and liquidated banks controlled by the Russian Federation: JSC International Reserve Bank (formerly Sberbank) and PJSC Prominvestbank, which is 99.77% owned by PJSC Sberbank of Russia and State Development Corporation VEB.RF.
