Denmark joins Grain from Ukraine Initiative – PM
KYIV. Jan 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Denmark has joined the Ukrainian grain initiative Grain from Ukraine, said Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.
"I am glad to announce that we are joining the Grain from Ukraine initiative," Frederiksen said during a press conference with the President of Ukraine in Odesa on Monday.
She also stated that Ukraine can count on Denmark in terms of assistance in restoring the city of Mykolaiv and investing in the economy.
"We want to create jobs, restore the economy together with Danish business. I think that many companies in Denmark have something to share, especially in such areas as energy, environmental solutions, energy efficiency," she said.
"You can count on Denmark, Mr. President Zelensky, because we are united by democratic values. Denmark is with you, and we will remain close friends and partners," the Danish Prime Minister added.
