Defense Minister, Commander-in-Chief of Ukrainian Armed Forces visit forward positions in Donbas
KYIV. Dec 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Defense Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny visited the forward positions of Ukrainian military personnel in Donbas, the Joint Forces Operation’s headquarters said on Sunday.
"Today, Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny arrived in the JFO area. On the eve of the thirtieth anniversary of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the head of the defense department presented the servicemen with awards and valuable gifts. In particular, Reznikov presented to the military who are serving as part of the JFO forces, the Ministry of Defense, such awards as ‘Firearms’ and ‘Cold weapons,’ as well as watches with symbols of the Ministry of Defense. In addition, together with Commander of the Joint Forces Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavliuk, the officials visited the front lines, where they congratulated the soldiers on the upcoming holiday and distinguished the best," the headquarters said on its Facebook page.
