Curfew time shortened in Kharkiv region – Synehubov
KHARKIV. Dec 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – In Kharkiv region, the curfew will start an hour later and end an hour earlier, said head of the Regional Military Administration Oleh Synehubov.
"From today it [the curfew] will last from 23:00 to 5:00. This decision was made by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration in response to numerous appeals from business representatives, enterprises that provide life support, transport workers, etc.," Synehubov wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to him, local residents are gradually returning to Kharkiv and the communities of the region, so there is a growing need for longer operation of network products and the service sector.
Synehubov assured that the decision to reduce the curfew was agreed with the military leadership.
During the curfew, it is forbidden to be in public places without issued passes, to move around the streets on foot or by transport.
As previously reported, from August 25, the curfew began at 22:00 and lasted until 6:00 the next day in Kharkiv region.
