Crossroads in Brighton renamed Ukrainian Way – Ukraine's Ambassador to USA
KYIV. Aug 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – One of the intersections in New York’s Brighton district on Wednesday, when Ukraine celebrates Independence Day, was named Ukrainian Way, Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova said.
"Everyone can contribute to our fight for Independence, and every contribution is important! And some, like the renaming of the intersection at Brighton to Ukrainian Way, successfully completed today on Independence Day, are also extremely symbolic," Markarova said on Facebook on Wednesday.
