Credit Agricole issues UAH 2 bln of car loans since year start
KYIV. Aug 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Credit Agricole Bank (Kyiv) issued car loans in the amount of UAH 2 billion in January-August 2021, the bank’s press service reported on Monday.
"In April, we set a record: we concluded deals for a total of UAH 315 million, and already in August we crossed the UAH 2 billion mark," the press service said, citing director of alternative channels and third party sales department Roman Bunich.
According to the report, the bank has updated the loan terms and stopped requiring a certificate of income, subject to an initial payment of 50%.
As reported, Credit Agricole issued more than UAH 700 million loans in cash to individuals in January-June 2021, which is two times more compared to the same period in 2020.
Credit Agricole Bank (formerly Index-Bank) was established in 1993. Its sole shareholder is Credit Agricole S.A. (France).
According to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), as of June 1, 2021, Credit Agricole Bank ranked 11th in terms of total assets (UAH 52.724 billion) among 73 banks operating in the country.
