Cousin of late mayor of Kryvy Rih found hanged in his apartment
KYIV. Nov 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – In Kryvy Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region), a cousin of the deceased mayor Kostiantyn Pavlov was found hanged in his apartment, according to preliminary data, he had a serious illness.
"At about 14:00, the common-law spouse found him hanged in the apartment. To establish the cause of death, the body will be sent for examination," the press service of Dnipropetrovsk region police told Interfax-Ukraine.
The law enforcement source told Interfax-Ukraine the cousin of the deceased mayor of Kryvy Rih had a serious illness.
The law enforcement officers have no information about any suicide note; to establish the circumstances of death, criminal proceedings will be initiated under Article 115 of the Criminal Code (premeditated murder).
As reported, the mayor of Kryvy Rih Pavlov was found dead on the doorstep of his house on August 15. The National Police of Ukraine opened criminal proceedings under Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (premeditated murder).
