Court extends arrest of Semenchenko for two months more
KYIV. Nov 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Solomiansky District Court of Kyiv has extended for another two months the measure of restraint in the form of detention of former MP Semen Semenchenko, a suspect in the case of a terrorist attack and smuggling of military goods has been completed.
"The term of detention has been extended," according to the statement on Semenchenko’s Free Facebook page on Monday.
The State Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) told Interfax-Ukraine that the court extended a measure of restraint for Semenchenko in the form of detention for another two months.
Earlier, the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) of Ukraine announced the completion of the pretrial investigation in criminal proceedings against nine people, including a former MP of Ukraine.
