Court eases measure of restraint for Antonenko, choosing house arrest at night-time
KYIV. Sept 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Shevchenkivsky District Court of Kyiv has eased house arrest for Andriy Antonenko, accused of the murder of journalist Pavlo Sheremet.
"Sustain in part the prosecutor’s petition to extend the term of the preventive measure in the form of round-the-clock house arrest to the accused Antonenko. Change Antonenko the measure of restraint from round-the-clock house arrest using an electronic means of control to house arrest at a certain time of the day using an electronic means of control, forbidding him to leave his place of residence […] in the period from 23.00 to 06.00," the court said in the ruling on Monday.
The preventive measure is valid for two months, until November 27, 2021.
Antonenko has also additional obligations.
In addition, the court extended the night-time house arrest of the accused Yulia Kuzmenko by two months. The court extended the term of additional obligations to the accused Yana Duhar until November 27.
