Corpses of Russian soldiers taken out at night in small batches to hide scale of losses – SBU interception

KYIV. May 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Russian army removes the bodies of dead Russian servicemen in small batches at night in order to hide the scale of losses, the Security Service of Ukraine notes.

On Monday, in its telegram channel, the SBU released an audio intercept of a conversation between two occupiers in Zaporizhia region. It follows from the conversation of the Russian military that corpses are taken out in small batches at night.

"This significantly increases the delivery time, so sometimes relatives of the occupiers arrive already ‘half-decomposed cargo 200,’ which must be additionally identified," the SBU specifies.

In particular, the Russian military discusses in conversation that the dead soldier’s wife has been waiting for the body for six days, to which the other replies: "they carry them in small packs… And at night."

According to the invader, there are only 20-22 members of his company still alive, and another nine have written a statement refusing to participate in hostilities.

The SBU reminds us that according to official data, the Ukrainian armed forces have already eliminated over 23,000 occupiers.
