Contracts with 4 members of Ukrzaliznytsia supervisory board expire, Infrastructure Ministry submits nominations from state
KYIV. Sept 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The contracts of four members of the Supervisory Board of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia expired on September 21, 2021, according to the website of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
The contracts, in particular, were terminated with: Sevki Acuner, the chairman of the supervisory board, independent member, powers since July 2018; Andreas Matje, independent member, since June 2018; Oleh Zhuravlev, representative from the state, powers since December 2019; Serhiy Leshchenko, representative from the state, powers since December 2019.
Until the appointment of new members from the state and independent members, Audickas Adomas Azuolas remains the current member of the Supervisory Board, whose contract expires in June 2022.
The Ministry of Infrastructure has already submitted candidates for the positions of members from the state, and their appointment is expected in the near future.
Earlier, in June 2021, to ensure the selection of the board chairman of Ukrzaliznytsia, the government, at the initiative of the Ministry of Infrastructure, extended the contracts of all four members of the supervisory board for three months – until September 19, 2021.
