Construction resumed in 66% of residential complexes in Ukraine, sales opened in 75% – LUN
KYIV. Sept 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Work on construction sites amid the ongoing military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has resumed in an average of 66% of residential complexes in the country, while two-thirds have resumed sales, according to statistics from the LUN portal.
According to the report presented during the RED online meeting, construction work is being most actively restored in the western regions of Ukraine. So, at the beginning of September, Volyn region was the leader, where the construction of 96% of new buildings was resumed. High rates are also in Rivne, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia regions (92%), Lviv (86%) and Khmelnytsky (82%) regions.
At the same time, in Chernivtsi region, work was resumed only at the construction sites of 63% of residential complexes.
Construction is being actively restored in a number of other regions: in Vinnytsia (88%), Cherkasy (92%), Poltava (79%), Kirovohrad (67%), Dnipropetrovsk (63%), Odesa (67%).
LUN recorded slightly lower indicators of the resumption of construction work in Kyiv and Kyiv region – 46% and 55%, respectively. About 59% of residential complexes have restored construction in Zhytomyr region.
The slowest recovery is at construction sites in Chernihiv (47%), Sumy (44%), Zaporizhia (37%) and Kharkiv (8%) regions. At the same time, in Mykolaiv and Kherson regions, there is no activity at the construction sites of residential complexes.
LUN analyzed only residential complexes, the construction of which was carried out in pre-war February, and did not take into account objects that stopped or had not yet begun construction work before February 24, as well as already completed but not sold residential complexes.
The indicators of opening sales in new buildings were distributed in a similar way, LUN notes. Thus, most sales departments were opened in Cherkasy (100%) region and in the west of Ukraine (85-99%). In Kyiv, sales of 73% of new buildings resumed, in the region – 67%.
LUN indicates that the data on the opening of sales are given only for residential complexes, excluding cottages. The analytics does not take into account already sold complexes and those that did not open sales until February 24.
