Construction of social facilities stopped in Crimea due to lack of concrete – Tasheva
KYIV. Dec 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea, the construction of all social facilities has been stopped due to the lack of concrete supplies, permanent representative of the President to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Tamila Tasheva said.
"We know that all construction of social facilities under so-called state orders has stopped in the occupied Crimea. The reason was the lack of supplies of cement, respectively, concrete. It is interesting to know where all the concrete in Crimea has gone? As far as it became known, the Bakhchisarai cement plant Industry primarily provides the so–called priority customer – the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation," Tasheva said at a briefing in the President’s Office on Thursday.
Currently, according to her, the production of anti–tank barriers – the so-called ‘dragon’s teeth’ – has begun at the factory of the village of Shkilne, Simferopol district, and concrete structures are being transported by trucks to the northern part of Crimea for their construction.
Tasheva also noted that at the moment there are about 2,000 doctors lack in Crimea.
