Comfy will donate 3% of in-app purchases to help army
KYIV. May 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Comfy electronics and household appliances chain will donate 3% of purchases in its application to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to a press release from the company.
"The funds will be accumulated and weekly transferred by the company to the special account of the NBU," the report says.
In addition, users of the Comfy application can also directly transfer funds to the Come Back Alive fund or to the special NBU account.
The network has previously allocated UAH 60 million to support the army, and also donated more than UAH 17 million worth of equipment to the military and volunteers.
After the Russian invasion, the company reopened 77 stores in 41 cities. Address delivery works in 34 cities.
The owner of the network is Comfy Trade LLC (Dnipro). According to the unified state register of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, Comfy Trade is owned by Comfy Holdings Limited (Cyprus), the ultimate beneficiaries are Svitlana Hutsul and Stanislav Ronis.
