College of Europe to be established in Ukraine – Zelensky

KYIV. Jan 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the start of the establishment of the College of Europe in the state, which would train specialists to work in European structures and with European structures.

As the president said in his evening video statement, today he had a conversation with students, teachers and graduates of the College of Europe in Natolin (Poland) and Bruges (Belgium).

"This is a special educational institution that trains specialists to work in European structures and with European structures. These are the specialists that we need, in particular, for the full integration of our state with the European Union," Zelensky said.

According to him, Ukrainians are already studying under the programs of the College of Europe.

"And we have already begun the creation of such a college in Ukraine," he said, noting that this underscores Ukraine’s desire to fully and as quickly as possible integrate with the European Union.

"And also, I am sure, this will allow Ukrainians to help protect freedom and European values both in our region and throughout Europe. I heard from the rector of the college in Natolin that free Europe now has a Ukrainian face. And such words mean a lot. We will invariably do everything to increase our potential in relations with the EU, in particular, personnel potential. Therefore, we need our own Ukrainian College of Europe. And it will be," the president said.
