Citizen of Ukraine Limeshko, illegally convicted in Russia, vaccinated with vaccine not approved by WHO – Denisova

KYIV. Aug 31 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada Human Right Commissioner Liudmyla Denisova called on Russian Ombudsperson Tatyana Moskalkova to urgently provide medical assistance to a citizen of Ukraine Hennadiy Limeshko, illegally convicted in Russia, due to a sharp deterioration in his health due to forced vaccination.

"I appeal to Human Rights Commissioner in the Russian Federation Tatyana Moskalkova with a demand to urgently provide Hennadiy Limeshko with the necessary medical care. After vaccination, Hennadiy Limeshko’s health condition deteriorated rapidly: tachycardia and severe headache started," Denisova said on the Telegram channel on Tuesday morning.

She said the workers of the Federal state institution "Correctional Colony No. 6 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in Stavropol Territory," where Limeshko is kept, vaccinated him against his will with a vaccine not recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO). According to her, they threatened him with placement in a punishment cell and a ban on communicating with relatives, forcing him to sign a consent to the vaccination.

According to the Ukrainian Commissioner, the administration of the institution refused to provide medical assistance to Limeshko, which is a gross violation of Article 3 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, is equivalent to torture and inhuman treatment and Article 22 Standard Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners, endorsed by the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

"I ask the Consul General of Ukraine in Rostov-on-Don, Taras Malyshevsky, to urgently make a trip to ‘Correctional Colony No. 6 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in Stavropol Territory’ and visit Hennadiy Limeshko," the parliamentary representative said.
