Central Mining and Processing Plant reduces production of pellets by 2.5% in nine months
KYIV. Oct 23 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Central Mining and Processing Plant (Kryvy Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region), part of Metinvest group, in January-September of this year reduced the production of commercial pellets, according to operational data, by 2.5% compared to the same period last year – up to 1.74 million tonnes.
The company told the Interfax-Ukraine agency that in September the production of pellets amounted to about 200,000 tonnes.
The Central Mining and Processing Plant in nine months reduced the production of iron ore concentrate by 3% – to 3.53 million tonnes, including 350,000 tonnes in September.
