Center for Educational Quality Assessment introduces NMT online tester in Ukrainian language
KYIV. Feb 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment has published a demonstration online tester for the national multi-subject test (NMT) in the Ukrainian language.
“The model of the admission campaign has already been determined: applicants for the first year of higher education will take a national multi-subject test (NMT). The exam will not be more difficult than traditional testing for external independent assessment. To make sure of this, learn how to allocate time for completing tasks in various subjects, to determine the topics that should be worked on more carefully, applicants will need to complete the tasks of demonstration options for NMT,” the center’s press service said.
The demonstration test in the Ukrainian language is placed in a special online environment of Lviv Regional Center for Evaluating the Education Quality, and the interface of the proposed tester differs from what it will be on the real NMT, however, in terms of structure, types of tasks, duration of their implementation, the demo version is similar to the entrance test.
The applicant will have 60 minutes to work with the block of the demonstration version “Ukrainian language” during which 30 tasks will have to be completed.
“Both during the demo test and during the real test, you will be able to choose the sequence of tasks, if necessary, return to a particular task, change the answer option, and upon completion of the work, you will receive the test results for this subject,” the center said.
The center also said if an applicant has a slow Internet or is not able to work for 60 minutes at a computer or phone, he can download a file with a demo version of the NMT to his device, complete tasks and check his answers with the correct ones.
“No later than May, we will post training materials for all academic subjects,” the center said.
