KYIV. Nov 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The case on the accusation of former judge of Dniprovsky district court of Kyiv Mykola Chaus of obtaining an unlawful profit has been brought to court.
"On November 15, 2021, NABU and SAPO sent an indictment to the court against the former judge of Dniprovsky district court of Kyiv, who demanded and received an unlawful benefit in the amount of $150,000. The actions of the accused are qualified under Part 4 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of an unlawful benefit on an especially large scale by an official holding a responsible position, associated with extortion)," the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) said on its website.
