Cabinet supports concept for development of network of dormitories for 2022-2026
KYIV. Aug 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the concept of the state targeted social program for the restoration and development of a network of dormitories for 2022-2026, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has said.
"In Ukraine, there is a complex problem of providing students with high-quality living conditions in dormitories. Many have heard about the practice of settling in small rooms for five or more people, and some cannot get a place in a dormitory at all. The situation clearly requires a solution," the head of government wrote in his Telegram channel.
"Within three months, the Ministry of Education, together with local government bodies, must submit a draft program for further approval and implementation," Shmyhal added.
