Cabinet intends to allocate UAH 175 mln to strengthen Ukrainian-Belarusian border

KYIV. Nov 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine intends to allocate UAH 175 million for measures to strengthen the Ukrainian-Belarusian section of the state border.

"It cannot be ruled out that the migration stabilization project can be expanded to the Ukrainian-Belarusian border. We must be ready for any scenario," said Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal at a government meeting on Wednesday.

He also stressed that the use of migrants as a mechanism of hybrid aggression is "the height of insolence and inhumanity."
