Bundestag to hold emergency hearings on Russian military buildup along Ukrainian borders on Thursday – ambassador
KYIV. Dec 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The German parliament will hold an emergency hearing on the Russian military buildup near the state borders of Ukraine on Thursday, December 9, Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnyk has said.
"On Thursday, December 9, an emergency parliamentary hearing will take place at the plenary session of the Bundestag entitled: ‘The position of the Federal Government on buildup of Russian troops along Ukraine’s state borders.’ We expect a powerful warning to the Putin regime from Berlin," Melnyk said on his Twitter page.
