Bulk carriers flying flags of Turkey, Russia collide in Bosporus – press
ISTANBUL. Sept 25 (Interfax) – The dry bulk carriers flying the flags of Turkey and Russia have collided in the Bosporus, on the shore of the Yenikoy district of Istanbul, the Anadolu news agency said, citing the Turkish coastal police on Saturday.
The Turkish dry bulk carrier Tahsin Imamoglu was headed from the Kocaeli Province to the Karadeniz Eregli industrial port on the Black Sea coast and Russia’s Rusich 10 was on its way from the Bursa Province to Russia.
Crafts and towing vessels were sent to the incident scene.
