British Ambassador Simmons: Partial mobilization, sham referenda won't fix Putin's misunderstanding of Ukraine
KYIV. Sept 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Russian President Vladimir Putin still does not understand the Ukrainian side and the partial mobilization announced in the Russian Federation and illegal "referenda" in the occupied Ukrainian territories will not help solve this problem, Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Ukraine Melinda Simmons has said.
"Watched Putin’s speech. He still refuses to understand Ukraine. Partial mobilisation and sham referenda don’t change that essential weakness," Simmons wrote on Twitter on Wednesday.
