"Appalling decision to detain Crimean Tatar lawyer Edem Semedlyaev, who provides legal assistance to political prisoners in Crimea. I admire the courage to work in the face of such pressure to help the illegally detained. Russia should release Eden and other prisoners immediately," she said on Twitter Monday.
