Boryspil airport deputy head Zvonarev becomes new president of UIA Airlines

KYIV. Sept 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukraine International Airlines (UIA), the largest Ukrainian airline before the war, changed its president: instead of Yevhen Dykhne, it is now Kyrylo Zvonarev, who from 2014 to 2022 served as deputy general director of Boryspil International Airport state enterprise.

According to the press service of UIA, the corresponding personnel decision was made after the end of the contract of Dykhne, who headed UIA since September 2019.

Prior to joining UIA, Dykhne since 2017 was also deputy general director of Boryspil airport, and earlier, from September 2014 to March 2017, he headed this largest airport in the country as an acting director.

After the start of the war, UIA offered its aircraft, which were not blocked at Ukrainian airports, for charter and humanitarian flights outside Ukraine and for wet lease.
