Borrell on new Russian attacks: Depriving millions of electricity, water, heating during winter is cruel and inhuman
BRUSSELS. Nov 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell called "cruel and inhuman" the destruction of Ukraine’s critical civilian infrastructure by Russia, which left millions without electricity, water and heating in the winter of millions.
This is how he commented on the resumption of Russia’s massive rocket attacks on Ukraine on his Twitter page on Wednesday.
"Strongly condemn Russia’s renewed criminal attacks against civilians and critical infrastructure in Ukraine: massive blackouts, also in Moldova. Depriving millions of electricity, water and heating during winter is cruel and inhuman. EU’s support to Ukraine and Moldova continues unabated," Borrell said.
