Bodies of 17 dead, incl. four children, nine passengers of helicopter, found on crash scene in Brovary – Emergency Service
KYIV. Jan 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The bodies of 17 victims of the helicopter crash in Brovary were found as of 14:00, including four children and nine passengers of the aircraft, the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine has said.
"The bodies of 17 dead, including four children and nine people who were on board, were found. Twenty-five people, including 11 children, suffered injuries and were hospitalized," it said.
The search and rescue operations continue on the crash scene, the fate of one more child remains unknown, the Emergency Service said.
"Psychologists of the State Emergency Service have provided 51 people with care. Some 65 employees and 12 units of equipment of the State Emergency Service, including a canine team and three quick response rescue teams, are involved in the operations," the state service said.
