Blinken thanks Zelensky for help in evacuating people from Afghanistan
KYIV. Sept 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) – U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken joined the meeting between U.S. President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, thanked Ukraine for helping to evacuate people from Afghanistan.
"It was a pleasure to join U.S. President Joe Biden’s meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The U.S.-Ukrainian partnership is stronger than ever and we are committed to Ukraine’s bright and prosperous future. I commend Ukraine for its assistance helping evacuate those at-risk in Afghanistan," Blinken said on Twitter.
