Blinken, Stoltenberg discuss options in response to Russian aggression against Ukraine
WASHINGTON. Dec 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On Wednesday, December 8, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg discussed the options for the alliance’s actions in the event of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the U.S. Department of State said.
"Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken spoke today with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. They discussed the December 7 call between President [Joe] Biden and Russian President [Vladimir] Putin and NATO’s options in response to further Russian aggression against Ukraine," the Department of State said in the statement.
