Biden to announce new $2 bln aid package to Ukraine – White House
KYIV. Dec 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) – US President Joe Biden on Wednesday will announce about $2 billion in aid to Ukraine, the White House reported.
"In fact, tomorrow, President Biden will announce a significant new package of nearly $2 billion of security assistance for Ukraine," the White House said in a statement.
As part of this package, the United States will provide Ukraine with Patriot missile battery, as well as train Ukrainian military personnel to use this battery.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will visit the United States on Wednesday and hold talks with U.S. leader Joe Biden.
