Biden says he plans to discuss with Zelensky issue of arms supplies
KYIV. Jan 31 (Interfax-Ukraine) – U.S. President Joe Biden said on Tuesday that he plans to discuss with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky the issue of further arms supplies to Ukraine, the EFE news agency reports.
"We will talk," Biden told reporters, answering a question about whether he was going to discuss with his Ukrainian counterpart the issue of the types of weapons requested by Kyiv.
EFE notes that Biden’s statement was made about a day after the U.S. president said that he was not currently considering the possibility of transferring F-16 aircraft to Ukraine.
