Biden says he not considering possibility of using US army to protect Ukraine from Russia – media
WASHINGTON. Dec 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On Wednesday, U.S. President Joe Biden said that he is not considering the possibility of using the U.S. troops to defend Ukraine from Russia, according to U.S. media.
"This is not being considered," Biden told journalists outside the White House, when asked if U.S. troops could be sent to Ukraine to defend it from Russia.
According to Bloomberg, the U.S. president said he would not unilaterally use force against Russia.
At the same time, he confirmed that the United States will strengthen its military presence in NATO member countries. Earlier, Washington said that such an increase is possible in the event of a conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
