Biden plans to talk not only with Putin, but also with Zelensky – media
WASHINGTON. Dec 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – After a conversation with Vladimir Putin, U.S. President Joe Biden plans to speak with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky, and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will also speak with the Ukrainian President, Western media said citing a senior U.S. administration official.
According to the statement Blinken is scheduled to hold a telephone conversation with Zelensky prior to the conversation between the leaders of the United States and Russia. In turn, Biden will talk with his Ukrainian counterpart after talks with Putin.
It is also noted that ahead of the conversation with Putin, Biden spoke with the European allies and will continue to do so.
The videoconference of the heads of the United States and Russia will take place on Tuesday at 17.00 Kyiv time.
