Biden plans to explain to Putin that USA to exert economic pressure on Russia if it attacks Ukraine – White House
WASHINGTON. Dec 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – U.S. President Joe Biden plans to clearly explain to Russian President Vladimir Putin during a conversation on Tuesday that he will be ready to put pressure on the Russian economy in case of a conflict between Moscow and Kyiv, White House Spokesperson Jen Psaki said on Monday.
At a briefing she said that he will make it clear that the United States is preparing a number of economic measures that may harm Russia.
Psaki did not rule out both unilateral measures against Russia and actions together with the allies. Biden will discuss the issue with a number of Western leaders later Monday, she said.
