Bezuhla comments on info about possible pressure on Burba, parliamentary TIC members
KYIV. Sept 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Head of the Verkhovna Rada Temporary Commission of Inquiry (TIC) Maryana Bezuhla (Servant of the People) denied the information that the TIC members are under pressure due to consideration of materials on the case of Wagner PMC fighters.
"None of the TIC members directly addressed such pressure and warnings. I do not comment on Vasyl Vasyliovych [former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency Vasyl Burba] due to the fact that, as I have already noted, we started working with him, it continues, there will be comments on the results of the work," Bezuhla said at a briefing on Monday.
However, when asked whether Burba asked to provide him with state protection, the TIC head called such information classified.
Earlier, MP from the European Solidarity faction Mykola Kniazhytsky told reporters that Burba is under pressure from the authorities.
