Belavia hit with EU sanctions
BRUSSELS. Dec 2 (Interfax) – The European Union on Thursday imposed sanctions on the Belarusian airline company Belavia and Syria’s Cham Wings over their supposed involvement in the migrant crisis on the border with the EU, the EU’s Official Journal said.
The EU also sanctioned the Turkish visa firm VIP Grub which helped migrants receive Belarusian visas.
